We’re looking for a talented Mathematics Video Producer to help us create outstanding lesson videos for senior secondary mathematics.
This is not a traditional content role. We want someone who can combine great mathematical communication, strong visual storytelling, and a modern AI-first production mindset to help us build a compelling video offering for students and teachers.
Over the next six months, you’ll lead the development of a new style of maths lesson video content that is clear, engaging, polished, and scalable. You’ll experiment with formats, workflows, and tools, then help turn the best ideas into a repeatable production process.
What you’ll doYou will:
- Design and produce high-quality senior secondary mathematics lesson videos
- Prototype different video styles, formats, and workflows to identify what works best
- Translate complex maths concepts into explanations that are concise, engaging, and easy to follow
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to speed up scripting, narration, visual development, editing, and production workflows
- Work closely with our team to define what “great” looks like for lesson videos in this space
- Research competitor offerings and help us create something better
- Build production approaches that can scale across multiple books, topics, and state-based courses
- Collaborate with educators and curriculum/content teams to ensure videos are pedagogically strong as well as visually polished
RequirementsWhat we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you have a mix of the following:
- Experience producing educational video content, ideally in mathematics or another technical subject
- Strong understanding of senior secondary maths and how to explain concepts clearly
- Excellent instincts for pacing, clarity, engagement, and visual communication
- Confidence using modern video, animation, and AI-assisted production tools
- Ability to move quickly from concept to prototype to refined output
- A high bar for quality and a willingness to test, iterate, and improve
- Strong independent judgment and the ability to own a project end-to-end
- Can make maths feel approachable without oversimplifying it
- Think like both a teacher and a producer
- Are excited by the challenge of combining human expertise with AI-enabled workflows
- Enjoy figuring out not just how to make one great video, but how to build a system for producing many great videos efficiently
