Be the Central Intelligence of a High-Growth Leader

Since 1983, Setpoint Systems Corporation has defined excellence in building automation. We are currently scaling at an unprecedented rate, and to manage this momentum, we are seeking a strategic Master Scheduler. This is a high-impact, senior-level management role designed for a "Command and Control" expert who can synchronize our entire project portfolio.

We don’t just need a person to enter dates; we need a visionary who can integrate resource management, supply chain alignment, and financial forecasting into one cohesive master plan. If you are a decisive leader who thrives on complexity and is ready to drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced, competitive environment, Setpoint is your next destination.

The Mission: Strategic Integration & Control1. Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)
  • Portfolio Ownership: Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) covering all project phases—from engineering and panel fabrication to commissioning and closeout.

  • Advanced Orchestration: Utilize Critical Path Method (CPM) and resource leveling to resolve conflicts and mitigate variances before they hit the field.

  • Scenario Modeling: Conduct "what-if" analyses to evaluate the impact of potential project changes or material shortages on our overall trajectory.

2. Resource & Capacity Forecasting
  • Staffing Intelligence: Forecast long-term staffing needs for Engineers, Programmers, Technicians, and Panel Fab teams.

  • Leveling Expertise: Collaborate with Operations to resolve competition for specialized technical labor, ensuring our "A-Team" is exactly where they need to be.

  • Predictive Analytics: Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations on hiring, training, and subcontracting strategies.

3. Financial & Supply Chain Synergy
  • Cash Flow Integration: Translate the IMS into accurate, forward-looking billing forecasts and cash flow projections for the Finance team.

  • Milestone Monitoring: Report on progress against revenue milestones to optimize working capital.

  • Supply Chain Alignment: Coordinate with Procurement to ensure long-lead controllers and sensors arrive exactly when the installation schedule demands.

4. Leadership & Executive Reporting
  • Command Meetings: Lead cross-functional reviews with Sales, Finance, and Operations to communicate project health and resolve departmental conflicts.

  • Visual Dashboards: Generate high-level reporting and visual aids for executive leadership regarding portfolio status and risk exposure.

  • Mentorship: Elevate the entire organization by guiding project teams on scheduling discipline and best practices.

Who You Are: The Proactive Strategist
  • Meticulous & Structured: You have a relentless attention to detail and a passion for organized systems.

  • Dynamic Problem-Solver: You don't just react to delays; you anticipate and mitigate risks weeks in advance.

  • Exceptional Communicator: You can distill complex schedule data into clear, actionable insights for everyone from field installers to the President.

  • Assertive & Collaborative: You are a leader who builds strong relationships but isn't afraid to hold teams accountable to the master plan.

Required Qualifications
  • The Experience: 7+ years in a dedicated Master Scheduler or Senior Project Controls role, preferably in Construction or Building Technologies.

  • The Tools: Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or ERP systems like ComputerEase.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Building Automation (BAS) project lifecycle and its critical dependencies.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain.

  • Credentials: PMP, APICS, or similar certifications are a significant asset.

Perks & Benefits
  • Growth Potential: Real opportunity to influence the operational standard of an industry leader.

  • Comprehensive Health: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.

  • Financial Security: 401(k) with company match and employer-paid Life Insurance.

  • Balance: 3 weeks PTO annually plus Healthcare & Dependent Care FSA.
