The RoleWe are looking for a Contractor to provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on best practices and executing effective programs in Marketo and Salesforce platforms.
Primary Responsibilities- Own and optimize the architecture of both Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketo to ensure clean, scalable, and integrated data structures across systems
- Serve as the go-to admin and developer for both platforms, managing configurations, customizations, integrations, and performance tuning
- Build and maintain automation workflows in both systems, including Salesforce Flows, validation rules, formula fields, custom objects, and Marketo smart campaigns and engagement programs
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and Marketo (and other tools as needed), ensuring accurate, real-time data sync
- Audit and clean data, implement governance rules, and enforce best practices for data quality, deduplication, segmentation, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both platforms—from sync errors to automation misfires—quickly and thoroughly
- Advise on best practices, recommend technical and process improvements, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance platform performance, scalability, and usability
- Support campaign execution and reporting, ensuring proper lead lifecycle tracking, attribution, and funnel visibility across marketing and sales
You’ll be primarily working with the Marketing Automation/RevOps team.
- Salesforce admin certification
- Marketo certification
- Experience with Salesforce custom objects, flows, validation rules, and formula fields
- Experience with Marketo campaigns, forms, lifecycle management, reporting & attribution, and programs
- Digital marketing experience
- 3+ years of experience in Marketo and Salesforce
- Fully Remote
- Contractor Position (flexible hours and will vary based on needs)
- $30-$75 per hour (depending on experience)
