About the Role:

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own the systems behind our marketing programs and connect them to the BDR and sales teams so they run as one motion rather than a series of handoffs. When Marketing launches a program, this person makes sure it's built, QA'd, and lands cleanly with reps. When a BDR identifies an opportunity, this person makes sure the data, lists, and programs behind it are ready to act on immediately. The quality and completeness of our GTM data is what makes that speed possible, and as we expand into new segments and apply more AI and automation across the revenue engine, that foundation matters more every quarter.

You'll join a Revenue Operations team that has built the core routing, enrichment, and funnel infrastructure, and you'll have room to improve each of them. Because marketing systems feed directly into the sales process, you'll also partner with Sales and BDR teams on Salesforce work that keeps pipeline moving, and help harden routing, enrichment, and data hygiene alongside the rest of RevOps.

This role is built for someone who ramps fast and runs independently. With documented systems and SOPs to lean on, you'll be expected to own your queue within your first 30–45 days and make sound calls without waiting for sign-off. Day-to-day operational support is a real part of the job, but the greater impact comes from identifying and building durable, scalable solutions that drive revenue. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, and BDR leadership, treats data as a strategic asset, and consistently prioritizes the work with the greatest business impact.

This is a contractor role with opportunity to convert to full time hire.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Own Market program operations end to end, including builds, templates, segmentation, scoring, and QA. This covers campaigns, events, direct mail, and BDR-driven outreach, so programs launch cleanly and hand off to reps without friction.

  • Operate and evolve inbound lead routing, assignment logic, and enrichment with the broader RevOps team. Keep rules accurate as territories and segments change, and make sure records arrive complete enough for a rep to act on.

  • Build and scale foundational ops architecture across our stack, including lead lifecycle and account funnel models, lead status, and deduplication and RingLead matching rules.

  • Serve as the operational partner to Sales and BDR teams on Salesforce requests, record hygiene, and reporting, turning recurring asks into repeatable workflows.

  • Identify and ship improvements across our marketing stack that increase pipeline, improve speed to lead, or make Sales and Marketing more efficient.

  • Prioritize incoming requests from Marketing, Sales, and BDR leadership, and communicate tradeoffs directly when capacity is constrained.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

  • 5+ years in Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations, including hands-on Salesforce work supporting Sales and BDR teams and systems ownership rather than campaign execution alone.

  • Deep hands-on Marketo experience, including program architecture, smart lists, scoring, and the Salesforce sync.

  • A track record of driving measurable outcomes through systems and data work, such as faster lead response, higher inbound conversion, or better pipeline visibility.

  • A builder's orientation toward scalable solutions, with examples of turning recurring operational issues into durable processes or automation while still managing day-to-day demands.

  • You drive work forward rather than waiting for it. Given an outcome, you define the problem, propose the approach, flag risks early, and ship.

  • Strong Salesforce administration skills, including objects and relationships, field architecture, validation rules, flows, and reporting.

  • Practical Clay experience, including waterfall enrichment and Salesforce writeback, and comfort working with data outside the UI through SQL, scripting, or spreadsheets at scale.

  • A data steward's mindset. You notice when a field is misused, fix root causes rather than symptoms, document systems as you build them, and treat record quality as a shared asset.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups with competing priorities, and the judgment to focus effort where it matters most.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, or a warehouse-centric reporting stack that feeds GTM systems.

  • Outreach, LeanData, RingLead, or Gong administration experience.

  • Experience applying AI and workflow automation to GTM operations, whether through Clay, Zapier, n8n, or LLM-based enrichment and classification.

  • Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions.

Compensation: This is a temporary independent contractor (1099) position with an initial contract duration of six (6) months, with the potential to extend or evolve based on business needs and mutual fit. The hourly rate range for this contract is $75 – $130* per hour and will vary based on factors including skill level, relevant experience, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and geographic location. This position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits. As an independent contractor, the individual is solely responsible for maintaining any required liability insurance, other applicable insurance coverage, benefits, and for the payment of all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. We consider qualified applicants consistent with applicable law. Background checks will be conducted in accordance with legal requirements. This contract position is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the terms of the contractor agreement.
