The Problem
In the U.S., over 40% of adults do not hold a bachelor’s degree, yet most career platforms and employers continue to focus on college-first pathways. This creates a massive opportunity gap for millions of people—especially young adults—who are ready to work, learn, and grow but lack access to the information, networks, and support systems that open doors.
Our Solution & Approach
We operate a suite of financial support programs and technology platforms designed to close the opportunity gap and increase access to economic opportunities, especially for those who have traditionally been underserved. Our programs and tools help users access training, explore careers, and take actionable steps toward high-quality jobs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Brand Strategy and Messaging
Manage the brand strategy for the organization as a whole as well as for our programs in alignment with our mission, voice, and audience.
Develop the brand and identity across different mediums.
Create collateral and messaging for digital and print collateral.
altPath Marketing
Create and execute marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement and retention.
Design digital ads and print marketing collateral.
Implement digital marketing across various online platforms and social media channels.
Track and analyze performance of ads; implement and monitor marketing analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads, UTM tracking, A/B testing) to measure impact and inform decisions.
Refine and uphold altPath’s brand voice, tone, and identity across digital, print, and experiential channels.
Manage marketing budget and evaluate return on investment for all campaigns and tools.
Manage external contractor supporting with organic social media campaigns: meet to plan content, approve their content strategies, and review analytics.
LOC Scholars Collateral
Create collateral for program needs: student handbook, informational sheets, invitations to events, etc.
OTHER DETAILS
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on education, tech, or non-profits.
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies independently.Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
Excellent written and visual communication skills, with experience in content creation and brand building.
Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and marketing automation tools a plus.
Creative thinker who is comfortable working in a start-up environment with limited structure.
Passion for youth empowerment, education, or workforce development is strongly preferred.
Remote Work + Expectations
This is a full-time, exempt role, meaning you’ll manage your time to meet business needs without extra pay for overtime. You’ll work fully remotely, staying accessible by phone and email during core hours and joining all virtual meetings. You’ll report directly to our COO. Twice a year, you’ll travel to Los Angeles for in-person, company-wide planning days.
Pay & Benefits
Base Salary: $75,000–$85,000 (DOE)
401(k): 6% company contribution after one year
Health Coverage: 99% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and 50% employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance for dependents
Time Off: 11 paid holidays plus the last week of the year, 10 PTO days (increasing with tenure to 20 PTO days), plus sick leave and parental leave
Stipend: $80/month to cover cell phone and internet costs
