POSITION SUMMARY:

As Marketing Manager, State, Local, and Education (SLED), you will work closely with sales and marketing leaders to develop and execute high-touch marketing programs targeting state and local agencies as well as educational institutions. You will also collaborate with partner marketing, product marketing, content marketing, media relations and other cross-functional teams to implement these plans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate Account-Based marketing and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders to build marketing events and program calendar for SLED.
  • Research RFP opportunities for various public sector segments and organizations.
  • Research industry events and opportunities, evaluating sponsorship based on objectives and target audience.
  • Help plan campaigns encompassing regional events, webinars, trade shows, email, direct mail, digital, social, and third-party sponsorships.
  • Help manage program budgets, calendars, and execution timelines.
  • Support sales enablement by adjusting current and/or creating new marketing materials for the SLED team.
  • Work with campaign and event managers to track campaign success, determine ROI, report results and make recommendations to sales and marketing teams.
  • Work with other team members including events, sales enablement, product, operations, channel, and growth marketing.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with 2+ years working with state and local government agencies, educational institutions, public sector partners, distributors, and influencers.
  • Experience managing and implementing regional events, webinars, trade shows, and third-party sponsorships.
  • Experience with analytics and a passion for proving marketing results across the marketing and sales funnel.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Location: San Francisco or San Diego metro areas.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
