Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

The Marketing Intern is an entry-level team member who supports the marketing team with document formatting, graphics production, and data entry for proposals, presentations, and promotional efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative individual eager to learn the fundamentals of marketing within the A/E/C industry.

As part of a leading consulting firm serving transportation, water, land development, and government clients, the Marketing Intern will contribute to marketing efforts that support projects shaping communities throughout the Western United States. This role offers a unique chance to build practical skills while building a strong foundation for a future career in marketing.

Responsibilities

• Format resumes and project descriptions in Adobe InDesign to align with firm standards
• Edit professional headshots and images in Adobe Photoshop
• Enter and update project, resume, and client data in Deltek Vantagepoint
• Organize and maintain marketing assets and files across Teams, OpenAsset, and Box
• Assist with basic graphics, presentations, and marketing and communications collateral
• Work collaboratively with marketing staff and attend team meetings
• Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or English Degree or related field.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Familiarity with MS365 Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work well with others and take direction and feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands: Mostly a sedentary position, normal bending, stooping and lifting required. Must be able to visually interpret written text, prepare written documents, communicate by telephone and use a computer.

• Hourly pay range: $23.00 - $28.00 which may vary depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
