Virta Health is on a mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people. Current treatment approaches aren’t working—over half of US adults have either type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, and obesity rates are at an all-time high. Virta is changing this by helping people reverse their metabolic condition through innovations in technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery reinvented from the ground up. We have raised over $350 million from top-tier investors, and partner with the largest health plans, employers, and government organizations to help their employees and members restore their health and take back their lives. Join us on our mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people.

This is a high-impact entry point into B2B marketing at Virta. You’ll work across content, campaigns, and channels—helping turn big ideas into consistent execution while learning how modern marketing teams operate at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Content activation: Translate long-form content into short-form assets (social posts, emails, landing page components) and execute distribution aligned to the content strategy.

  • Campaign execution: Build and launch campaigns in HubSpot, including emails, workflows, and basic reporting.

  • Performance support: Track campaign and content performance, flag trends, and support optimization efforts.

  • Team leverage: Take ownership of repeatable execution tasks to free senior marketers to focus on strategy and impact.

  • Operational consistency: Follow documented processes and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and quality over time.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Get oriented: Learn Virta’s brand, audiences, content strategy, and campaign workflows.

  • Execute confidently: Independently execute content activation and campaign builds with high quality and on time.

  • Build trust: Become a reliable execution partner for multiple marketers across the team.

  • Show impact: Support at least 2–3 active campaigns with clear delivery and basic performance reporting.

  • Level up: Identify at least one process or execution improvement that increases team efficiency.

Must-Haves
  • 2-4 years experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with content posting, email campaigns, or marketing tools (HubSpot experience a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn modern B2B marketing.

Values-driven culture

Virta’s company values drive our culture, so you’ll do well if:

  • You put people first and take care of yourself, your peers, and our patients equally

  • You have a strong sense of ownership and take initiative while empowering others to do the same

  • You prioritize positive impact over busy work

  • You have no ego and understand that everyone has something to bring to the table regardless of experience

  • You appreciate transparency and promote trust and empowerment through open access of information

  • You are evidence-based and prioritize data and science over seniority or dogma

  • You take risks and rapidly iterate
