* Job Summary
* As a Marketing BI Analyst, you will be responsible for providing various forms of data and analytics support to optimize and elevate customer journey, as well as enhance the performance of CDW marketing campaigns and communication channels. You will work closely with marketing business team members to understand their goals and roadmap, will proactively build KPIs to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics, and will uncover and disseminate actionable insights. Your goal will be to build high quality, scalable, automated, and meticulously documented analytics solutions that will shape up business decision-making and marketing strategy.
* What you'll do:
* Data modeling: build data model behind new KPI measurement and implement data structure in collaboration with data engineering team
* Data visualization: Build and automate dashboards by using PowerBI and Adobe Analytics
* Python and OOPs: Build automation using Python or other object oriented programming language to capture and explain change in trends and anomalies in key metrics and assess performance of marketing tactics.
* Strong SQL: Create complex SQL queries to wrangle data and provide deep dive analysis.
* Communication and partnership: Partner with marketing teams to understand business goals and translate them into analytical solutions.
* Business mindset: Develop deep understanding for CDW business model, processes, and engagement with business customers.
* Storytelling: Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through visualizations and presentations.
* Generative AI trailblazer: Propose and build innovative AI solutions to business problems via scalable and robust analytics services. Leverage generative AI for automation of analytics workflows and research and analysis.
* Problem solving: Approach business problems with curiosity, ownership, and urgency and build root cause analysis, supported by facts and logic; Analyze edge cases and trace impact to business results.
* Continuous improvement: Follow principles of continuous improvement for operations ng, communication, and engagement model across analytics team and key stakeholders.
What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Data Science or related technical area of study and 3 years+ experience in advanced marketing analytics
* Orchestrate advanced marketing analytics to uncover actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
* Develop compelling dashboards and reports using BI/visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
* Utilize object-oriented programming solutions in Python within a professional environment.
* Leverage Big Data technologies including EMR, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, and Spark to process and analyze large datasets.
* Experience with Cloud computing technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)
* Advanced SQL knowledge
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong critical thinking
* Data curiosity
* Continuous improvement mindset
