We have a well-established global M&BD team, which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, marketing and client relationship management activities. The team is divided into a number of key areas: including practice M&BD, clients and sectors, pitches and pursuits, which manage strategic global and regional pitches; corporate communications, which comprises public relations, brand, design, events, and digital; and campaigns and projects. There are also regional M&BD teams in the Americas, Continental Europe, and Asia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support the Head of M&BD Americas and Regional M&BD Managers in the development and implementation of group/office marketing goals, objectives and strategies.
- Create and edit responses to RFPs, customized pitches, and business development presentations.
- Regularly update of all web and print marketing collateral, including brochures, practice group descriptions, biographies, news items and articles authored by practice attorneys.
- Conduct research on existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and industry or market trends to aid in the development of marketing plans, presentations, and proposals.
- Liaise with the firm’s communications team on public relations, media relations and communications activities relevant to the practice area or office.
- Manage/maintain the social media aspects of the Americas region
- Assist in the development and production of internal materials and client communications.
- Research marketing initiatives of other law firms, including seminars, advertisements, brochures, and proposals.
- Support all aspects of area seminars and other marketing-oriented events.
- Read industry publications to remain aware of trends that may impact the firm's practice and to identify opportunities for promoting the practice.

QUALIFICATIONS
- B.A. in Marketing, Communications, English or similar preferred
- Ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, professional level staff, and peers
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and Interaction a plus)
- Excellent research skills, including Internet research experience
HOURS
Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch. Must be flexible to work additional hours.
