The Marketing Manager – Events leads product demonstration and event operations across assigned markets. This role is responsible for implementing event processes, ensuring service quality, and providing consistent leadership to retail supervisors. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, planning, coaching, and overseeing event execution to deliver strong performance and compliance.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain quality and compliance by ensuring the right team members are in place and following established processes.
Recruit, interview, and hire for positions that report directly to this role.
Train, coach, and mentor direct reports on company policies, procedures, processes, and role expectations.
Support quality execution by conducting audits and partnering with direct reports to meet compliance and performance goals.
Manage event execution and overall performance by reviewing daily and weekly scorecards to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Partner with support teams, including Field Support, Recruiting, Payroll, and Client Services, to address team needs and ensure effective support.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Share market insights and best practices and recommend process improvements to strengthen team performance.
Serve as the event execution expert for assigned retail partners and vendors, while monitoring payroll and other expenses to maximize market contribution.
Lead the planning and coordination of market meetings.
Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time.
Inspect company equipment regularly to ensure safe operation and proper maintenance.
Education/Experience: At least three + years of experience in retail, restaurant, food industry, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities at once and has strong organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Any required national, state, or local food safety certifications must be maintained.
Supervisory Responsibility: This role includes both direct and indirect supervisory responsibilities.
Working Conditions: This is a field-based retail role that requires extensive travel within the assigned market and occasional travel outside the market.
Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills are required. Bilingual ability may be needed based on business needs.
