Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Arlington on a full-time basis.
The Role:
The Process Engineer will support day to day operations in General Assembly. The primary focus will be on process equipment, namely error proofing systems, fill equipment, and end of line equipment.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • You will analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes.
  • You will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area.
  • Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area.
  • You will keep regular contact with partners outside the work group.
  • You will provide direction to small group of technical employees.
  • You may evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) :
  • Bachelor Degree in a technical or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in 3-D design.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Travel expected to be less than 10%.
  • Ability to multi-task, supporting several projects with various priority levels.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently & within a team.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering or Maintenance.
  • Ability to read equipment drawings.
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • Equipment troubleshooting.
