The Role:
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact on how products are built. In this role, you’ll help design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing systems and processes that drive efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues (especially on the electrical side), introduce new technologies, and ensure our manufacturing practices meet safety and environmental standards. If you enjoy solving real-world problems on the production floor and turning ideas into scalable processes, this role offers the chance to do just that.
What You'll Do:
Process Design and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Equipment & Technology
- Select, recommend and support manufacturing equipment
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support preventative maintenance
Quality & Compliance
- Develop and implement quality control plans
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with standards
- Analyze defects and implement corrective actions
Cost & Efficiency Optimization
- Identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality
- Monitor production efficiency and implement data-driven improvements
Project Management & Collaboration
- Partner with cross functional teams to deliver projects on time
- Prepare project plans and schedules
- Monitor project progress and adapt plans as needed
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and improvements opportunities
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Use data to guide process and operational decisions
Safety & Training
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions
- Train and mentor team members on processes, equipment, and best practices
What You'll Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years experience or equivalent hands-on experience
- Working knowledge of electrical components, panel design, and schematic interpretation.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software tools (e.g., CAD/CAM, PLM).
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Knowledge of materials selection, machining, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with statistical methods for process control and quality assurance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to implement corrective actions.
The estimated salary range for this position is $65k to $90k. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
