The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in improving and scaling the assembly and test processes for a complex robotic electromechanical system during an aggressive production ramp. This role requires hands‑on factory floor engagement, strong problem‑solving capabilities, and the ability to develop and refine repeatable, robust manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with electromechanical assemblies, new product introduction, and process qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve and optimize manufacturing assembly processes through documentation, process validation, tooling, fixtures, and test procedures.
  • Support daily production activities including troubleshooting product issues, resolving material shortages, and evaluating/dispositioning piece parts.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across build, test, and inspection processes to increase yield, throughput, and overall quality.
  • Analyze part/process data and conduct capability assessments
  • Identify, document, and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Monitor production progress; identify schedule risks and drive resolution of roadblocks.
  • Provide daily factory support for assembly, test, troubleshooting, and material issues.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, quality, design engineering, and supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering for electromechanical assemblies.
  • Proven experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and manufacturing process qualification.
  • Skilled in manual assembly methods, test system development, and structured problem‑solving
  • Strong initiative and ability to independently identify and resolve problems on the production floor.
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of driving schedules and deliverables.
  • Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, firmware, quality, and supply chain groups.
  • Ability to work onsite full‑time in Centennial, CO.

Anticipated Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

The above pay range represents Quantum's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Pay within or outside of the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, knowledge/education, skills/abilities, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
