Position Summary
The Manager, Web Production & Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for ensuring the performance, governance, and continuous improvement of CVSHealth.com. This role partners closely with the Senior Web Manager to drive enterprise‑level digital excellence, oversee end‑to‑end content operations, and optimize the user experience across the site.
As a core member of the web team, you will manage the publishing ecosystem, uphold quality and accessibility standards, and manage complex workflows involving UX, SEO, development, analytics, brand, and communications partners. You will bring deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), a strong command of UX/UI and accessibility principles, and the judgment to lead high‑impact digital initiatives in a fast‑paced, newsroom‑style environment.
This position requires proactive problem-solving, operational leadership, and the ability to translate business objectives into intuitive, high-performing digital experiences.
Responsibilities
Digital Operations & Content Authoring
- Manage day-to-day web operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant publishing across the site.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for AEM authoring, workflow governance, and enterprise component standards.
- Execute complex content builds, leveraging AEM templates and components to ensure scalability and UX‑driven structure.
- Apply insights from the Analytics team to improve content performance and operational efficiency.
UX/UI Optimization
- Apply advanced UX/UI principles to improve readability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
- Partner with UX, design, and SEO teams to evolve templates, components, and content patterns.
- Provide strategic recommendations that elevate the user journey and strengthen brand perception.
Quality Assurance & Accessibility Governance
- Oversee QA processes for new pages, updates, and multimedia integrations, including mobile responsiveness, functional testing, and cross-browser review.
- Ensure all content aligns with WCAG/ADA guidelines and internal governance requirements.
- Identify recurring quality issues and lead the development of preventive processes and tools.
Technical Problem-Solving & Platform Support
- Use intermediate front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to troubleshoot issues directly within AEM.
- Serve as the liaison to development teams for complex technical enhancements or defect resolution.
- Contribute to roadmap planning for AEM component evolution and platform optimization.
Workflow, Governance & Process Improvement
- Own key aspects of the website publishing workflow, including intake, prioritization, routing, review cycles, and final approvals.
- Lead documentation of processes, standards, and training materials to support scale and consistency.
- Recommend and implement operational enhancements that improve accuracy, speed, and collaboration.
Multimedia & Asset Management
- Ensure image, video, and multimedia assets are optimized for performance, accessibility, and brand alignment.
- Partner with creative teams to maintain enterprise-wide standards for visual assets and integrated media.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in web content management, digital operations, or similar roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including components, templates, workflows, and troubleshooting.
- Strong grounding in UX/UI, digital accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and web content best practices.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional digital initiatives and manage complex workflows.
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, newsroom-style environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate communications, digital publishing, newsroom operations, or large-scale enterprise web environments.
- Familiarity with SEO, ADA compliance tools, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, Adobe Analytics, and enterprise video platforms such as Qumu.
- Understanding of front-end and back-end concepts to facilitate effective collaboration with technology teams.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Web Development, UX/UI Design, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in digital content management, UX/UI, web operations, or related disciplines.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
