What you'll do as a Manager, Sports Trading
- Lead day-to-day operations of in-play trading across multiple sports, ensuring pricing accuracy, content uptime, and optimal customer experience.
- Manage and develop a team of live traders and team leads, with a focus on performance, scheduling, and growth.
- Identify market inefficiencies or anomalies in live pricing and implement real-time risk adjustments.
- Collaborate across teams to support tooling enhancements, automation rollouts, and pricing model improvements.
- Provide feedback to improve live trading processes and product features, ensuring alignment with sportsbook goals.
- Maintain consistent live market coverage and delivery across all platforms and partner integrations.
- Monitor live trading KPIs and produce regular performance updates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Represent the live trading team in cross-functional discussions, partnering with Analytics, Product, and Customer Experience.
What you'll bring
- At least 4 years of experience in sports trading, including team leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of live betting mechanics, market creation, and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel; familiarity with scripting or automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to make fast, high-stakes decisions under pressure.
- Strong data mindset with the ability to translate insights into operational actions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and major sporting events as required.
