Manager - Technology Transformation Advisory

Manager - Technology Transformation Advisory leads client-facing consulting teams that help organizations translate business priorities into measurable outcomes across cloud, data, AI, and modern digital platforms. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology strategy, team leadership, and transformation execution. As a Manager, you will lead workstreams and teams across strategic consulting engagements, shape practical recommendations, and help clients move from vision to roadmap to execution. You will also develop and coach consulting talent, strengthen team performance, and contribute to the continued growth of 3Cloud’s Microsoft-focused transformation advisory practice.

Responsibilities
• Support and lead portions of client engagements focused on digital transformation, technology modernization, cloud strategy, operating model evolution, and enterprise change initiatives 
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions to evaluate current-state challenges and identify transformation opportunities. 
• Analyze business, technology, process, and organizational data to develop actionable recommendations grounded in client objectives and measurable outcomes. 
• Support the management of day-to-day engagement execution, including workplan development, task ownership, milestone tracking, deliverable quality, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
• Create executive-ready deliverables including maturity assessments, transformation roadmaps, business cases, operating model recommendations, governance frameworks, and decision-support materials. 
• Structure complex client challenges into logical workstreams, analyses, recommendations, and implementation pathways 
• Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, strong delivery quality, practical recommendations, and a clear focus on measurable business value.
• Support proposals, solution shaping, and client presentations. 
• Develop and grow team members through regular coaching, clear expectations, constructive feedback, mentorship, development planning, and support for certifications, stretch assignments, and career progression.
• Drive effective team operations and performance by overseeing staffing, utilization, workload balance, performance management, and employee engagement, proactively addressing risks and removing barriers to success.
• Align talent strategy with business priorities by communicating organizational goals, supporting hiring, promotions, and compensation decisions, and representing team insights in leadership discussions to inform practice.
• Monitor team health, morale, workload balance, staffing alignment, performance patterns, and engagement risks; partner with practice leadership to address concerns and communicate priorities back to the team.
• Collaborate across advisory, cloud, engineering, data & AI, managed services, change, and design teams. 
Requirements
• 6–9 years of relevant consulting or technology transformation experience.
• Experience leading client-facing engagements in digital transformation, cloud strategy, or technology modernization.
• Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, or developing consultants, analysts, or crossfunctional project team members.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technologies including cloud, data, and AI platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in creating executive-level deliverables such as roadmaps, business cases, and assessments.
• Ability to work independently and manage workstreams.
• Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field. 
• MBA or relevant graduate degree. 
• Experience in a consulting firm, digital consultancy, or major systems integrator. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystems, Azure, data modernization, or AI-enabled transformation. 
• Experience connecting advisory work to implementation or managed services programs.

3Cloud offers competitive compensation. In addition to base pay employees are eligible to receive an annual discretionary/utilization bonus. If you are hired at 3Cloud your final base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, experience and/or geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above includes the full base salary range for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

Base Salary Range
$117,500$176,300 USD
