The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As Manager - Technical Accounting, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Serving as a key business partner to area controllers and process leads, researching and resolving complex accounting issues through the application of GAAP and company accounting policies, to deliver practical, business-focused solutions

  • Leading the Company’s accounting for stock-based compensation and pension and post-retirement benefits in support of timely and accurate financial reporting and SOX compliance, including collaborating with external service providers, international controllers and cross-functional teams

  • Supporting the preparation and external audit of employee benefit plan financial statements and Forms 5500, working closely with HR Benefits

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND six (6) years of accounting experience

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification

  • Four (4) years experience reviewing, drafting, external financial reporting

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Direct experience in stock-based compensation accounting

  • Direct experience in pension and post-retirement benefits accounting and financial reporting

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

  • Experience with the “Big Four” firms or multinational public company

Work location:

  • Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be Authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $143,200 - $196,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
