Named GP Bullhound’s 2024 Top 100 Next Unicorn list, certified as a Great Place to Work, and recognized by Flexa for true flexibility, we’re growing fast and looking for top talent to join our team. If you’re excited to do meaningful work and make real impact, keep reading, this role could be the one you’ve been waiting for.

About the Role:

Camunda is the Business Orchestration Company. Our platform helps enterprises design, automate, and orchestrate the complex processes that run their business - across systems, people, and AI agents. We are remote-first, global, and named a Visionary in the inaugural 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies.

The Manager, Talent Operations leads the infrastructure that makes hiring work at scale. This is a people management, systems strategy, and AI automation leadership role. You will own the Talent Operations function, lead a team, and partner directly with the VP of Talent Acquisition to build what comes next.

This is not an optimization role. It's a build role. We are in the middle of transforming how we hire, and this person will lead that transformation from the inside.

What you'll be doing:

  • AI and automation strategy for Talent Operations - the roadmap, the pilots, the outcomes

  • A team of four with defined growth paths and active development

  • The Ashby ATS ecosystem - configuration, integrations, and technology decisions

  • Partner on Data architecture and reporting that drives leadership decisions

  • Recruiting operations design that scales and doesn't require your constant involvement to run

  • Strategic partnership with the VP of TA - you bring the point of view, not just the status update

What you bring:

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.

  • Experience leading an operations team in tech forward environment

  • A real track record with AI tools or automation in a People or TA function - not a talking point, but something you have actually done

  • Systems thinking at the architecture level - you design for scale, not just the current state

  • ATS fluency (Ashby preferred)

  • Comfort with data, metrics, and using both to surface what matters

  • A coaching-oriented management style

  • Remote-first operating experience
