PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Manager, Talent Acquisition is a key member of the FMCNA Talent Acquisition Team. This role works with Business Operations, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Leaders to translate business strategies into human capital needs by strengthening FMCNA's ability to attract, assess, select and integrate top talent.  Leads a team of recruiters supporting a key business segment or multiple small business segments.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for recruiting Sr. Leadership level roles for your business area

  • Maintains expert knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, and Company policies and procedures, along with healthcare emerging trends, and benchmark comparisons.

  • Understands designated businesses and the connection it has to broader FMCNA strategy and current business challenges. Develops and executes talent acquisition strategies that support and address business objectives

  • Develops key strategies for pipelining top talent for the organization and disseminates to team to execute

  • Establishes innovative approaches to talent acquisition within framework provided that will increase overall organizational bench strength and foster a strategic recruiting mindset

  • Understands and uses data to analyze key metrics (i.e. recruiting production, recruitment marketing, ERP progress, etc.) to identify successes and opportunities to increase efficiencies and affect metrics 

  • Utilize strong coaching and developmental skills with an ability to assess workload capacity and drive better outcomes as a team

  • Leads the team to deliver business impact by establishing and optimizing recruitment strategies in ways that lead to measurable gains in recruiting outcomes (e.g., response rates, screen volume, conversion rates, candidate NPS, hires)

  • Keen understanding of TA processes, know and be able to speak to the why and hold team accountable to meeting process adherence expectations

  • Leads and holds team responsible for building external talent pools and database for key positions

  • Provides leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.

  • Identifies and celebrates individual and team successes

  • Utilizes TA processes, programs and tools to assess and acquire talent in accordance with and in support of broader TA strategy including but not limited to: Employee Value Proposition, University Relations Program, Veterans Program, Employee Referral Program, Recruitment Marketing, Pre-hire Assessments, Sourcing Tool Utilization, Recruiting Coordinator Shared Services, Recruitment Process Outsourcing Partnership, and other programs as established.

  • Holds meetings with business leaders at cadence and with content defined for your client groups.

  • Represents Talent Acquisition at appropriate executive and operational leadership meetings, providing updates on Talent Acquisition strategy and programs

  • Provides quarterly updates to HR & Operational Partners on TA Programs and Outcomes

  • Responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring and retaining talented candidates across multiple US geographical areas for key roles.

  • Instills a customer focused mentality across the team to ensure delivery of an excellent candidate experience. Partners with parties across FMCNA to ensure that the positive candidate experience is carried through to new employee onboarding.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • This position requires approximately 10% to 20% travel.

SUPERVISION:

  • Manages subordinate supervisors and/or predominately exempt staff - experienced specialist/professional employees who exercise significant latitude and independence

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 6 - 8 years' recruiting experience with a strong preference in both agency and corporate setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 - 3 years management or related experience with demonstrated ability to manage one or more departments
  • SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP) is desirable, or a plus
  • Ability to integrate and interpret data from multiple sources to identify solutions and develop plans to ensure appropriate staffing.  
  • Must have a strong customer focus and be able to effectively and quickly build relationship and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence.
  • Must have a solutions-focus, being able to sort through information and develop innovative solutions quickly.
  • Experience operating in a fast paced, distributed workforce is desirable, or a plus.
  • Demonstrates ability to integrate automated solutions and use technology to improve processes
