As an Engineering Manager at ServiceTitan, you will lead one to two squads, driving execution, technical excellence, and team growth. You will foster a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment with business goals while empowering your team to excel.

What you'll do:
  • Leadership & Team Growth: Develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and structured growth plans. Build a strong, adaptable team by recruiting and retaining top talent. Support individual team members and ensure teams align with overall company culture and values. Instill a sense of ownership in your team in the relevant product area as well as empathy for our customers.

  • Strategy & Execution: Define and execute quarterly plans, ensuring timely, high-quality feature delivery. Drive agile ceremonies and monitor key success metrics. Provide clear priorities for day-to-day execution.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding architecture, design, and development best practices. Participate in code reviews.  Evaluate feasibility, identify risks, and balance trade-offs.

  • Customer & Business Impact: Deliver on-time, secure, reliable features that address customer needs. 

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work cross-functionally with senior leadership, engineering, product, and UX teams. Articulate team contributions to broader company initiatives. Maintain open and transparent communication about the team's progress and risks with senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Ownership & Accountability: Set goals, empower your team, and drive a culture of continuous learning. Celebrate successes and learn from failures.

What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

  • Strong technical expertise in modern frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, SQL, Azure, DevOps).

  • Proven ability to lead agile teams, deliver results, and drive execution.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of cross-functional teamwork.

  • Passion for talent development and fostering a high-performance engineering culture.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with observability tools (Grafana, DataDog) and performance optimization.

  • Experience developing telephony products is a huge plus. 

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation.The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $185,300 USD - $247,800 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
