Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of observability practices, ensuring robust monitoring systems are in place.
Develop and champion quality standards to ensure software is reliable, performant, and maintainable.
Act as a key communicator between teams, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring alignment on goals and progress.
Contribute to organizational planning, identifying technical investments and guiding teams toward the product vision.
Promote operational excellence by ensuring systems are testable, operable, and stable, and by supporting a low-toil on-call process.
3+ years of experience with Observability, Quality, and/or OpEx processes and technologies
Experience in the real estate or technology industry.
Familiarity with Zillow's products and services.
Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or similar role, with a track record of managing large teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Strong background in operational software practices, observability, and quality assurance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement standards and best practices across an organization.
Experience in planning and execution, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
