Job Description:

We welcome remote U.S.-based candidates

We're looking for a Manager, SEO to oversee the daily operations of the SEO team. Reporting into the Sr. Director, you will create and ensure that SEO strategies are carried out to meet client goals and providing strategy, consulting and guidance.

You Will:

  • Be accountable for the project plan and delivery of all SEO projects to agreed deadlines

  • Have ultimate responsibility for contract execution and reconciliation

  • Communicate account or team updates (escalations/wins) to senior team members

  • Oversee the management and development of the SEO team

  • Collaborate with the client services team in the follow up and achievement of goals

  • Help with client interactions, including audits, analysis, re-up, and QBRs.

  • Partner with other channels across the organization

  • Be the first point of escalation for the SEO team

  • Revamp SEO delivery templates and work to find efficiencies within daily SEO activities

  • Stay updated on search industry trends and train the more junior SEO staff on trends, SEO strategies, and best practices.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of Experience in SEO platforms (I.e., SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, STAT, or other comparable tools)

  • 3+ years experience integrating SEO into other marketing/advertising channels

  • An understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and other rich media technologies, and advanced web analytics experience

  • Local SEO experience (this is advantageous)

  • Experience with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Microsoft SharePoint

  • Experience contributing to and collaborating within diverse team environments, while also being able to evolve to different work styles and needs.

  • An all-hands-on-deck mindset that promotes collaboration, values diverse perspectives, and inspires progress toward positive outcomes.

  • Experience with project and resource management 

  • Managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team

Additional Information:

The annual salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
