About the Role:

We’re looking for a Revenue Forecasting Manager to lead and continuously enhance Liftoff’s revenue forecasting and earnings management processes. This role is in charge of delivering accurate, timely, and actionable revenue insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. You’ll work closely with SLT, Corporate FP&A, Commercial FP&A, and other cross-functional partners to ensure robust forecasting, guidance, and reporting for both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily pulse reports on revenue performance and provide daily updates on expected revenue trajectory.
  • Lead weekly and monthly forecast updates, including analysis versus prior versions and underlying support.
  • Manage quarterly guidance and earnings management processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and market expectations.
  • Drive AOP (Annual Operating Plan) forecasting and long-term revenue projections.
  • Support the creation and scaling of MD&A processes for both sponsor and investor storytelling, including variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with Commercial FP&A, Deal Desk, and other cross-functional teams to integrate business drivers and market trends into forecasting models.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy across financial systems and reporting platforms.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (SLT, Corporate FP&A, Commercial FP&A) to deliver actionable insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, revenue forecasting, or earnings management, preferably in a high-growth or public company environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of forecasting systems and tools
  • Experience collaborating across Finance and Product teams.
  • Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

Location:

Required location for this role is in one of our entities in the Pacific Standard Time Zone: CA, NV, OR, and WA.

We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and New York City.

Travel Expectations:

We offer several opportunities for in-person team gatherings, including but not limited to project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. We expect our employees to attend these gatherings at least once per quarter. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration, communication, and team building.

Compensation:

Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience.

The following are our base salary ranges for multiple levels:

  • SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County, Seattle/Olympia: $150,000 to $170,000
  • Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $138,000 to $156,400
  • All other cities and towns in our approved states: $129,000 to $146,200

This position has a bonus component.
