As manager of the Reporting team, within the Reporting and Data Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring our business partners have insightful, accurate, and intuitive reporting at their fingertips to inform business decisions. You are responsible for supporting a wide range of stakeholders both internal to OMX and across Chime. This role is responsible for a team that is expert in OMX data and asked to effectively bring that expertise to bear on complex and rapidly changing business demands. This position requires an understanding of how the business works, deep empathy with the problems business partners are trying to solve, our member experience, and creative problem solving when data is limited. It also requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure deadlines are met and alignment is maintained amongst shifting priorities.
You will work closely with cross-functional partners to create insightful reporting, supporting business reviews, develop and maintain KPIs, and bring thought partnership from a data perspective.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $157,590 and up to $218,900. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to:- Own and maintain a centralized, single source of truth for business metrics and KPIs by driving clear documentation, robust change management practices, and cross-functional alignment with senior leadership.
- Establish and uphold reporting and documentation hygiene by enforcing standards for accuracy, consistency, version control, and accessibility across all business metrics and KPI definitions.
- Take ownership of Looker dashboards and LookML development to ensure data accuracy, maintain semantic layer integrity, and enforce compliance with standardized, scalable, and efficient modeling practices.
- Continuously enhance the design and usability of data visualizations—optimizing the look and feel of dashboards to improve clarity, accessibility, and actionable insights that empower business owners to make informed decisions.
- Regularly communicate associated outcomes and insights to various team members at all levels, including senior management to help guide strategic decisions for improvement
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Data Engineering partners to ensure upstream decisions are empowering effective downstream reporting and insights.
- A bachelor's degree in the quantitative analytics field with 6+ years work experience or 8+ years equivalent experience working in reporting, business intelligence, analytics, or a similar role.
- Able to translate complex data into intuitive, decision-ready visualizations that align with business goals.
- Expert-level proficiency in Looker and LookML, with a deep understanding of data modeling, dashboard design, and best practices for scalable and maintainable BI solutions.
- Strong organization & project management skills - Ability to structure a project from idea to design/prototype to implementation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics and create compelling narratives for various audiences
- Excellent teamwork skills and desire to help others learn.
- BPO operations background preferred but not required.
