Progyny is looking for a Manager, Provider Services to lead the Clinic Authorization Specialists and Clinic & Billing Specialists, driving team performance and ensuring a world-class provider and member experience. This role blends people leadership, process management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence and a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders.

What you’ll do... 

  • Lead, coach, and mentor two Provider Relations Team Supervisors and about 20-30 team members to support development and performance  
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and manage training for new roles and promotions  
  • Manage team operations including timecard approvals, interviews, and performance management (e.g., coaching, PIPs, terminations)  
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, metrics, and policies to ensure consistent process execution  
  • Support resolution of member complaints and escalations, and troubleshoot system/platform issues  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to represent the voice of providers and agents, and support change management initiatives  
  • Contribute to project management efforts and help desk support as needed  

About you... 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory/people management experience in a contact center 
  • Background in healthcare, health insurance, or employee benefits preferred 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams. 
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Able to drive process improvement and cross-functional collaboration  
  • Empathetic communicator who values collaboration, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $70,000 - $90,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
