Job Title: Manager, Program Services
Department: Membership Development
Reports To: Director, Program Services
Basic Function: The Manager, Program Services will provide education, engagement and analytics to our USA Hockey organization, our key partners like the NHL and our local member associations. This will also include supporting our events, delivering our new AI/Analytics projects and executing elements of our Integrated Marketing Program.
Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Membership and Program Development
Establish and maintain relationships with District, Affiliate, local association and our professional hockey partners.
Provide support to local leadership through the development of tools, best practices, program development and leveraging data.
Be an active member of problem solving and delivery for our new our new Microsoft Fabric driven AI and Analytics platform. This will include s
Support the development of Power BI dashboards and learning Gen AI
Deliver specific elements of our Integrated Marketing program including emails, social and video.
Travel and support execution of 3-4 of our Tournament events
Other duties as assigned.
People Leadership
Foster a culture that encourages teamwork, open and constructive communication and a positive working environment.
Collaborate with USA Hockey volunteers on all functions as listed above
Established experience in customer relationship management is optimal.
Required Qualifications:
Education
· Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience
2-3 years' experience including Internships if just graduating from school
Strong analytic background and experience in analysis platforms including Excel, SQL and AI tools
Experience working with key leaders in true partnership
Skills
Must have excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and management skills.
Outstanding analytic skills
Ability to make difficult and timely decisions.
Strong relationship building skills required
Strategic thinking, excellent written and verbal communication as well as problem solving skills are essential.
Willingness to travel 4-5 times a year
Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously is a must.
Computer skills and ability and willingness to learn online systems quickly.
Enthusiastic, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Work Conditions:
Standard office equipment
Workspace within a multi-level building and indoor/outdoor ice arenas
Extensive travel required
This position does require occasionally working on nights and weekends.
Salary:
· $60,000 annually
This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, 75 hours vacation time, personal time, sick time, and 403B with a 4% match after six months.
Availability:
· Position to begin immediately at USA Hockey’s national headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo.
