Role Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Procurement Manager to support and streamline Power Systems equipment procurement for data center campus builds and help define a strategy to modularize solutions. This role serves as a key connector between the Procurement team and Rowan’s Engineering, Construction, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery.

You'll apply your skills in coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment to manage procurement activities from planning through execution. This includes handling Requests for Proposals (RFPs), vendor relationships, contract reviews, payment terms, and delivery coordination. You will help bridge teams, driving efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Travel: Up to 25% to project locations and manufacturing facilities for expediting, site visits, RFP requirements, and initial delivery management.

Location: Denver, CO (3 day hybrid in-office role)

Compensation: $130-$165K (Offers Bonus)

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement cycle for construction equipment, from needs identification to order finalization and timely delivery

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and rental companies

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure optimal outcomes for Rowan

  • Oversee the equipment procurement budget supplied by commercial and project management teams, ensuring purchases align with financial goals and arrive on schedule

  • Track and analyze procurement costs, identifying opportunities for savings while maintaining quality

  • Research and evaluate new suppliers for reliability, cost-effectiveness, and equipment quality

  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service levels and timelines

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal, safety, and environmental standards

  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, warranties, contracts, and repairs for audits

  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to align on needs and deliver equipment on schedule

  • Collaborate with Sr Director of Procurement in vendor selection

  • Maintain detailed records for vendor relationships, onboarding qualified vendors and streamlining the process required for MSA and PO delivery

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Proven procurement experience in construction for a mid-to-large-scale general contractor or similar organization

  • Background in data center development or large-scale infrastructure projects

  • Experience managing sizable projects or a portfolio of multiple initiatives

  • Proficiency in Procore and other construction management software

  • Working knowledge of green building practices

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Prior project management experience, with skills transferable to procurement (e.g., timeline oversight, risk mitigation) preferred

  • Familiarity with hyperscale data center procurement processes preferred

  • Expertise in Critical Power Systems, Mechanical Systems, or Prefabricated Solutions preferred

  • Expertise in managing Service Contracts with OEM suppliers preferred
