Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Program Management Office to lead and oversee a team of program managers in our Retail Wireless division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in, and understanding of the Wireless Industry. This individual will drive results in a high-velocity governance environment, ensuring the seamless execution of programs while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and adaptability in a very fast paced and quickly changing environment. Promote a culture of appreciation and accountability to enhance team morale and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team/Practice Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and excellence
    • Continuously improve team dynamics, processes, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of program delivery
  • Wireless Industry Expertise
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Boost Mobile's Retail Wireless Strategy and align program goals with strategic objectives
  • Program Governance and Flexibility
    • Implement and drive high-velocity governance processes, ensuring quick decision-making and streamlined execution
    • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to respond to changes in a very fast paced and quickly changing environment
    • Manage and assist with prioritization of new project requests and manage backlogs
    • Lead cross-functional project and program teams
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    • Proactively manage the identification and engagement of stakeholders across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment and collaboration
    • Proficiency in matrix management of cross-functional team members
    • Manage the maintenance of consistent and real-time communication with stakeholders, providing transparency and ensuring program success
    • Engage senior leadership effectively, delivering clear updates, actionable insights, and driving executive-level alignment
  • Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify potential program risks and implement structured reviews and mitigation strategies across teams
    • Foster a culture of proactive risk management within the program management team members
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement in how work is executed, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, quality, and outcomes
    • Champion innovation in processes, tools, and team engagement
  • Recognition and Motivation:
    • Actively recognize team achievements and contributions, fostering a positive and motivating environment
    • Promote a culture of appreciation and accountability to enhance team morale and productivity
  • Ownership and Accountability:
    • Ensure clear ownership and accountability within and across PMO and extended teams
    • Promote a results-driven mindset while empowering team members to take initiative and deliver excellence


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field (advanced degree preferred), PMP, CSM, and/or CAPM certifications are a plus
  • 6+ years of program management experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in telecommunications / wireless industry
  • Strong ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A track record of driving continuous improvement and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
