Overview
DaVita is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and collaborative Manager to join the PMO within PRISM. This role is instrumental in leading cross-functional initiatives that drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvement across procurement functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience, team leadership, and a passion for driving meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare organization.
As a PMO Manager, you may lead team of project analysts, oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives, and partner closely with PRISM leadership and stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure successful project execution, alignment with business goals, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage other project managers and analysts, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of procurement-focused projects and strategic initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and align project work with strategic objectives and business needs
Develop and implement project management best practices, tools, and frameworks to drive consistency and efficiency
Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication across all project phases
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and proactively drive resolution of issues
Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of project outcomes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the PMO and across PRISM
Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Ideal candidate will have Davita experience
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain, or healthcare industry preferred
PMP or similar project management certification strongly preferred
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence without authority, and drive results
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree a plus
