Job Description:
We are looking for a Manager, Media Planning for one of dentsu's largest accounts. You may be based anywhere in continental US as long as you can work EST hours. The Manager, Media Planning role is a critical role with direct reports. You will report into the Associate Director, Planning. You must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the media space, specifically Digital and ideally some Traditional media, plus available media research and systems. You will lead the daily account needs by assuring focus on key client goals, and communicating appropriate resource needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic & tactical Digital & Traditional media planning, primarily focused on local markets
- Coordinate with multi-channel teams to create strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across channels.
- Communicate with clients on questions and specific media plans
- Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
- Analyze competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
- Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
- Guide media channel selection and identify new opportunities
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in media planning
- Relevant media planning and buying experience across channels
- Familiar with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, and/ or other media tools
DESIRED, NOT REQUIRED:
- 1+ years managing junior team members
- Experience working on a large account such as CPG or Retail
- Experience developing campaigns specific to local markets
The annual salary range for this position is 62K- 84K . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
