Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate, Media Activation, Platforms & Partnerships to join our growing team!
This role is responsible for implementing, carrying out, and delivering digital media to meet client objectives. You’ll partner with activation specialists, planning & account teams and will learn to use your knowledge of digital media to support strategy development and delivery. You will learn to activate omni-channel, digital first marketing and advertising campaigns for our clients, using your capabilities in direct media buying, dynamic ad creative, personalization, performance insights, and integrated digital media programs.
This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. EST and CST working hours are preferred.
What you’ll do:
Activation
Take an active role in day-to-day management of paid media campaigns from conception to launch, with a focus on social media, programmatic and search channels
Manage media budgets and maintain accurate pacing documents towards client campaigns
Create reporting readouts to evaluate campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations for ongoing optimizations-- you’ll play a coordinating role in ensuring that strategic recommendations, deliverables, execution, and performance of paid media surpass client expectations Learn to build thoughtful, clear, concise decks that translate business objectives and strategies into tangible media plans that achieve client goals
Demonstrate a passion for healthcare, digital and communications to help spot opportunities for the client to achieve greater success for their business and brand, reach a broader audience and use all the tools at their disposal
Coordinate RFP/RFI with vendors and in support of business development opportunities to drive growth
Run multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment, within the health/wellness/pharma industry and be part of an internal ecosystem that provides clients with digital expertise and innovation
Operations
Work cross-functionally alongside relevant stakeholders to push projects forward and ensure timely delivery of client requests
Ability to set-up, implement and activate media while partnering with media ops and internal stakeholders
Provide proactive recommendations on research findings, campaign results, industry trends and innovation, competitive pressures to keep clients informed and manage programs upon best practices of direct media buys
Serve as the first line escalation point for execution and project challenges, applying technical skills to problem solve and keep projects timely and on-budget
Handle requests promptly to keep campaign activation and execution agile, forward-thinking and fast
Troubleshoot, in partnership with ops and analytics teams, to test and QA campaigns and reporting
Lead campaigns across multiple vendors and platforms and show eagerness to learn new platforms (i.e. The Trade Desk, GoogleAds, PulsePoint, Facebook, etc.)
Ability to understand important metrics and apply data and analytics to advise buying strategies and campaign management approach
Build close partnerships with media partners and understand the ecosystem from demand, supply, verification, measurement etc.

What you should have:
0-2 years of experience in a media or marketing role
Preference to buy-side experience, but sell side is a plus too
Preference for experience in pharma/healthcare industry, but not required
General understanding of the digital media ecosystem
Exceptional project management skills: demonstrated ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage detailed budgets
Ability to timely complete deliverables with a sense of client service orientation
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal including ability to connect with managers and clients when challenges arise
Ability to build relationships with internal teams

Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 + overtime
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. We have office locations in cities in the US and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us.
