The Opportunity
We are growing fast and looking for a highly motivated IT manager to lead and manage a 3-5 person IT Desktop and System Administrator teams. The individual will lead these teams in supporting and managing our digital resources, including Google Workspace, Cloud Storage, SSO Deployment, Onboarding/Offboarding processes, Workstation Management, and Security Administration. They will report directly to the Director of IT & Cybersecurity.
Overview
The IT manager will oversee the company's growing and complex Corporate IT infrastructure, not only supporting local offices but supporting global remote workforce. The IT Manager will ensure smooth IT operations, resolve issues, and act as an escalation point for the Desktop Support and System Administrator teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and mentor the Desktop Support and System Administration teams.
Oversee the administration, provisioning, deployment, security, and optimization of corporate IT systems and assets (Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, Okta, etc.)
Enforce and regularly review IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Manage IT service requests, incidents, and escalations, ensuring their timely resolution.
Maintain endpoint security, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
Collaborate with other departments to align IT services with business needs.
Qualifications
Your resume should clearly state that you have experience in a people management role including experience giving performance reviews, mentoring direct reports and making hiring decisions. You should also state how many people you managed.
5+ years of experience in IT support and system administration including serving as an escalation point. Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, Dropbox, and similar corporate IT tools. We are not a Microsoft office.
Experience managing endpoint security, MDM, and access control solutions.
Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
Experience with Incident Response, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, GCP) is a plus
Preferred
Experience with compliance, privacy, and security frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR) is preferred
Experience with JAMF and Intune is preferred
Experience with Google Workspace is preferred
Experience with supporting remote workforce is preferred
