Position Purpose: Responsible for gathering and organizing assessment data and results to support risk reporting and monitoring processes. Advises, designs, and/or validates the status of IT controls and processes and assists in the design of corrective actions to address control deficiencies.

  • Monitors and evaluates operational, service, and performance data through automated reporting and regular communication
  • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
  • Performs enhancement reviews and facilitates discussions on quality issues and current trends
  • Leads the assessments of levels of risk and compliance (deriving from external and internal threats) across Centene
  • Communicates, consults, and assists in remediation of control findings and gaps with IT and business stakeholders
  • Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide leadership, technical guidance and coaching
  • Shares knowledge and develop staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices
  • Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Master's Degree preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Splunk, PowerBI, Alteryx
  • Lead development of control monitoring dashboards & alerting systems
  • Experience with ServiceNow IRM module or similar risk management platforms

Technical Skills:

  • One or more of the following skills are desired.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project; Microsoft Visio
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with Data Analysis

License/Certification:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred
  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control preferred

Pay Range: $85,300.00 - $158,100.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
