This position is responsible for supporting the Internal Audit Plan, by leading the execution of financial audits and managing the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program. This role will oversee a team of auditors, driving audit quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess financial risks, and champion modernization of audit and SOX practices, while promoting a strong control environment.

We are looking for a Manager, Internal Audit (Finance) who will:

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of concurrent risk-based financial audits and advisory engagements, including scoping, fieldwork, issue validation, reporting, quality assurance, and timely delivery of high-quality deliverables
  • Oversee the SOX program, including risk assessment, control testing, deficiency management, certification process, and coordination with external auditors. 
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, ensuring performance, engagement, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate and maintain working relationships with business partners, resolve challenges, and advocate for process improvements.
  • Contribute and influence strategic direction around annual planning, tool adoption, automation, risk assessments, and audit methodology.
  • Keep current on business and industry changes, audit approaches, and risk trends

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required
  • Professional certification required (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA).
  • Understanding of PCAOB, SEC, and COSO standards

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive internal or external audit experience, including audit leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience in a global, or publicly traded company, strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing or executing SOX program.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate business processes and complex accounting areas, including strong knowledge of control design.

Preferred:

  • Experience collaborating across global or matrix organizations.
  • Exposure to risk assessment, audit analytics, and SOX modernization initiatives. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, ICFR, and audit methodologies.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Excel.
  • Strong project management acumen to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, perform root cause analysis, and draw insights
  • Strong knowledge of the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing

Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$95,077.22-$152,123.54

This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
