We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for our Infrastructure Platform team to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of the company’s cloud Infrastructure platform. In this role, you will oversee a team of SRE-focused engineers responsible for building secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that accelerates developer productivity, reduces operational burden, and improves system availability. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and security teams to define the long-term platform roadmap, modernize CI/CD workflows, optimize cloud infrastructure costs, and strengthen compliance and governance. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring both strong technical depth and proven people management skills to drive adoption of platform initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the long-term infrastructure platform roadmap; align quarterly objectives and sprint planning to ensure predictable delivery.
  • Strengthen platform security and compliance through improved access management, logging, and governance practices.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering to forecast and optimize infrastructure costs while preserving reliability and performance.
  • Maintain and modernize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high reliability and driving adoption of modern deployment workflows (e.g., GitOps, automated rollbacks, declarative configs).
  • Establish scalable, multi-account cloud infrastructure to support secure, reliable, and isolated environments.
  • Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of infrastructure/platform engineers.
  • Lead on-call for infrastructure incidents and ensure fast resolution with thorough postmortems.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in Infrastructure/Platform/SRE engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership or management.
  • Proven success delivering infrastructure “golden paths” adopted across multiple teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, IAM, and networking.
  • Experience with roadmap planning, cost optimization, and compliance/security frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate and align with cross-functional stakeholders to drive platform adoption.
  • Strong people leadership: hiring, coaching, and developing engineering talent.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Sumo Logic)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and automation best practices.
