We are seeking a Manager, GTM Engineering to lead and scale our GTM Engineering function within Marketing Operations & Analytics. This role is a hands-on player-coach who will lead a small team of GTM Engineers while directly building and optimizing the systems, automations, and AI-powered workflows that power our go-to-market motion.
This team will serve as the technical backbone of marketing and revenue systems, with ownership over AI and automation initiatives across Marketing and close partnership with Revenue, RevOps, Sales, Product, and Data Engineering.
This is not a purely strategic people-management role — you will actively design, build, and optimize systems while mentoring a growing team.
What You'll Be Doing:Team Leadership & Execution- Lead and mentor a team of 2 GTM Engineers, setting technical standards, best practices, and prioritization frameworks
- Operate as a player-coach — directly building and implementing solutions while developing team capability
- Establish documentation, governance, QA processes, and change management standards for GTM systems
- Own the architecture and integration strategy across HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, enrichment platforms, product data, and Snowflake
Serve as the primary stakeholder and systems owner for Clay and account intelligence tooling - Design scalable, resilient data flows across MAP, CRM, enrichment, warehouse, and activation systems
- Lead AI and automation initiatives within Marketing, identifying high-impact use cases for workflow automation, enrichment, routing, personalization, and AI-assisted processes
- Develop standards for prompt engineering, AI governance, and AI workflow deployment across GTM systems
- Partner cross-functionally to operationalize AI-driven experimentation at scale
- Act as a strategic technical partner to Marketing, Sales, RevOps, Product, and Data teams
- Translate business requirements into scalable system designs
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation and iteration
- Partner with Data Engineering to define data models, lifecycle schemas, and source-of-truth logic in Snowflake
- Ensure GTM data is reliable, properly modeled, and activation-ready
- 6+ years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, or similar technical GTM role
- 2+ years managing or mentoring direct reports
- Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environments
- Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce and HubSpot or related tools (custom objects, lifecycle design, automation, integrations)
- Strong experience with Clay or similar enrichment/account intelligence platforms
- Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar data warehouse environments
- Strong data fluency (ability to query, validate, and troubleshoot data independently)
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, reverse ETL tools, or integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Hightouch, Census)
- Experience building AI-assisted workflows (LLM-based processes, enrichment pipelines, personalization systems)
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, orchestration logic, and AI governance considerations
- Ability to identify automation opportunities that create measurable business impact
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution
- Strong documentation and systems-thinking mindset
- Clear communicator capable of translating technical concepts for business stakeholders
- High ownership, proactive, and outcome-driven
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
