Job Summary:
As a Manager, Operations Strategy at LifeStance Health, you will play a critical role in driving strategy and growth-focused strategic initiatives that improve operational performance and expand access to high-quality mental healthcare nationwide. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution and is designed for a high-performing individual contributor who can independently lead projects, translate strategic direction into action through analyses and presentations and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Compensation: $100,000 - 120,000/annually, plus annual bonus potential
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead strategic workstreams and projects across priority areas such as geographic growth, annual planning, specialty service expansion, KPI strategy & development, and clinician experience.
Translate senior leadership priorities into clear workplans, analyses, and execution roadmaps.
Build and interpret financial and operational analyses to evaluate opportunities, test scenarios, and support decision‑making.
Synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights into clear, executive‑ready recommendations.
Develop high‑quality presentations and materials for senior leadership, including ELT and Board preparation.
Drive projects from concept through implementation, executing directly or coordinating work across analysts and cross‑functional partners.
Location: Remote
Travel: As needed to support projects or key meetings; up to 10-15%
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to think strategically while also driving detailed workplans and solving complex problems.
Advanced analytical skills, including strong Excel capabilities (pivot tables, complex formulas) and experience building financial and operational models.
Strong PowerPoint and project management skills with clear, effective written and verbal communication.
Excellent communication skills with discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly to executive audiences.
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence outcomes without authority.
Demonstrates inclusivity, cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Background in a highly analytical role such as finance (FP&A), consulting, strategy, or investment banking is preferred.
Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Experience working closely with C-Level and other senior executives/leadership is required.
