MyFree DIRECTV is seeking a motivated and highly collaborative Manager, Growth Marketing, who will support the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies to drive revenue across the US market. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Growth, this role will primarily focus on converting our highest propensity free users to paid customers and will work closely with a cross-functional team, including Product, Marketing, Analytics, Sales, and Programming, to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities while leveraging data-driven insights and industry trends.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Support the development and execution of multi-channel growth marketing strategies to acquire and monetize high value users and subscribers, aligning with corporate goals.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and refine upsell strategy and tactics for MyFree, including reconnect opportunities, with attention to the customer lifecycle and engagement KPIs.
    • Collaborate with Analytics to gather and interpret weekly and monthly performance data to inform optimizations to achieve business KPIs.
    • Leverage data to identify, prioritize, and message audience sub-personas based on projected LTV and propensity to convert.
    • Optimize marketing tactics to drive growth while managing marketing efficiency through performance tracking and identification of the most effective channels for user acquisition, engagement, and upsell.
    • Partner with media and creative teams to monitor campaign performance and track key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates. Incorporate multi-touch attribution and MMP insights where available.
    • Partner with Curation team on strategy to merchandise gated content within MyFree environment to maximize conversions while balancing user engagement
    • Recommend and execute A/B testing and experimentation programs to continuously refine audience insights and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports to communicate marketing performance and insights to internal counterparts.
  • Participate in evaluations of new and existing distribution platforms and content partners for opportunities to expand audience reach.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and leverage primary and secondary research to understand emerging and established industry trends to refine positioning and capabilities.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or product management roles; experience in TV, streaming, and SVOD customer acquisition a plus.
  • Knowledge of growth marketing channels and user acquisition and upsell strategies, especially related to the entertainment space. Experience with digital marketing, paid media, and social channels preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, A/B testing, and growth experimentation methodologies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $96,140 - $174,570

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210

Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800

High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980

Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
