The Field Technology Manager is accountable for supporting, implementing, and communicating technology initiatives with our Franchise and company field teams. This role will be integral to the transformation of technology for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

To be successful it will be necessary to partner with the Popeye’s Technology Team, vendors, suppliers, franchisees, and other field employees to ensure coordination across new projects/programs, support escalations, and other field technology related deployments. Interpersonal and Vendor Management skills are an absolute must-have.

This position is field based.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with Franchisees, field support leaders, vendors, and internal RBI employees.
  • Supporting communication, planning, and implementation of new technology projects.
  • Managing technology support escalations by engaging appropriate support partners and building action plans for remediation.
  • Tracking and identifying support related trends in PLK Technology.
  • Acting as liaison between the franchise and field communities and supporting corporate teams.
  • Acting as liaison between the franchise and field communities and technology vendors.
  • Redefining existing field technology support structure.
  • Ensuring all technology communications are executed at the appropriate time, with the proper cadence, and include information necessary for training, support, and deployment.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of overall experience in restaurant operations and high-level understanding of restaurant systems and technology.
  • Have current, working knowledge of the foodservice industry and current challenges
  • Have experience working with Restaurant Technology platforms such as POS, Labor Scheduling Tools, and Back of House
  • Experience delivering or supporting POS and Back of House solutions to support restaurant operations is required.
  • Have a relentless drive to innovate, operating with a sense of urgency
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Be detail-orientated and extremely hands-on
  • Have a high comfort level of navigating emerging channels both within and outside of the technology space to identify how to improve our crew and customer experiences.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the role up to 3-4 days Monday-Friday only - No weekends
  • Candidates with QSR experience will be prioritized
