Position Summary:
The Manager, Engagements is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workflow and operational execution of client engagement processes within the Engagements team. This role ensures the accurate, efficient, and scalable preparation and processing of client engagement agreements in support of advisors and client service teams. The position combines operational leadership with hands-on execution to drive quality, consistency, and timely delivery across the engagement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the drafting, preparation, and review of client engagement agreements.
- Manage the onboarding of new client relationships within the firm’s CRM system, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data.
- Conduct comprehensive review and proper filing of acquired client agreements.
- Coordinate team workflow, allocate resources effectively, and maintain established quality control standards.
- Support the tracking, validation, and reporting of key engagement and revenue-related data to ensure operational alignment with billing and finance partners.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Client Transitions, Billing, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure seamless execution and adherence to regulatory and firm standards.
- Identify and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities to strengthen engagement operations and scalability.
- Lead or contribute to special projects and other related initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications & Profile:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in engagement services, agreements, onboarding, or operations
- Experience drafting or reviewing agreements and controlled documents
- Experience onboarding client relationships in a CRM
- Experience reviewing and organizing agreement files, including acquired accounts
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- High degree of operational and process acumen
- Experience coordinating workflow
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Wealth management, financial services, or professional services experience
- Familiarity with CRM and document management systems
- Exposure to workflow automation or process optimization work

Pay Transparency:
Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $80,000 - $85,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
