Position Summary

As the Project / Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing strategic business objectives in partnership with the AVP of Platform Engineering, and their direct reports. You will work closely to manage communications, facilitate decision-making across the team, and ensure the seamless execution of key initiatives. You will also drive organizational efficiency and provide program updates while serving as a liaison with other program managers, staff, and leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, operations management, and effective communication, coupled with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards successful program outcomes. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
 

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic Alignment and Execution Rhythm: Drive strategy alignment, planning, and execution rhythm across teams. Monitor dependencies and cross-functional efforts to mitigate critical risks to drive successful execution.

·Portfolio management: Align portfolio objectives with organizational goals, ensuring that all projects contribute to the overall strategy.

· Project Management: Support critical projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely execution. Track progress and report on key performance indicators.

· Budget Management: Managing and tracking utilization and forecasted investments against the annual plan, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently

· Communication: Develop and disseminate clear and effective communication materials, including presentations, reports, and memos for both internal and external stakeholders.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with leaders, cross-functional teams, and other program managers to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.

· Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and present data to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

· Problem Solving: Act as a key problem-solving resource helping to address complex issues and challenges within the organization.

· Process Improvement: Establish scalable processes, systems, and workflows to improve operational efficiency within the organization.

· Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead meetings, and set agendas ensuring that discussions are productive, action items documentation, and decisions are followed through.

· Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies and priorities in response to changing market conditions and organizational needs.

Required Qualifications      

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar, with demonstrated involvement in strategic planning or execution within a technology company. Plus, project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting organizational changes related to strategic initiatives, products, or services.
  • 5+ years of experience with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
  • 5+ years of creating executive leaders’ communication documents, agenda, facilitating meetings and presentations. Good business acumen skills
  • 3+ years of budget management experience.
  • 3+ years of portfolio management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data analysis and creating presentation materials.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field or equivalent job experience.

Preferred is a master’s degree and/ or Project Management Certifications

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
