What You Will Achieve
The IT Operations and Global Command Center organization delivers excellence in the pursuit of those breakthroughs through industry-leading infrastructure operations performance. We ensure optimal performance of the networks, cloud and on-premise services that power Pfizer's business processes. We strive to revolutionize service dependability by applying advanced analytics to drive predictive detection, identifying potential issues with our services and intervening before they disrupt our business. We place data at the heart of what we do and apply a relentless focus on continuous improvement to enable Pfizer's business processes and patient outcomes.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager, Data & Insights Lead will play a key role in leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize and continuously improve hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure services. This role involves identifying and integrating operational datasets, applying advanced analytical models, and generating actionable insights to enhance service quality.
T hey will partner with cross functional teams to design, maintain , and enhance insights dashboards to support decision-making. Additionally, they will be responsible for data preprocessing, machine learning model development, and performance optimization to drive predictive analytics and improvements.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a data-driven approach το continuously improve the hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure services.
  • Identify and integrate operational datasets (service data), apply advanced analysis models to develop improvement insights.
  • Partner with Operations teams, Data Analytics teams, and Monitoring leads to assess identified insights, design and develop data-led improvement actions.
  • Monitor data to measure outcomes against defined KPIs for infrastructure services.
  • Partner with Data Analytics teams to design, maintain and advance insights dashboards (ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau and other analytics platforms).
  • Develop and train predictive and classification models using machine learning algorithms and optimize models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences and translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure compliance monitoring & reporting for infrastructure controls.
  • Develop risk assessment models to analyze potential impact and identify proactive remediations.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, business, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Data Analysis & Machine Learning - Strong statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and ML algorithm expertise.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and building scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience creating insights dashboards and using visualization tools.
  • Understanding of hybrid cloud, on-prem environments, and cloud data services.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate matrixed teams.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA and/or project management credential (i.e., PMP)
  • Industry Experience: Pharma, Healthcare, Financial Services, or other regulated environments.
  • ITIL certified (Foundation v3 or v4)
