What to expect

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of cyber threat detection engineers.
  • Develop and implement advanced threat detection strategies and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and mitigate security threats.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cyber security protocols and standards.
  • Coordinate the integration of new cyber threat detection technologies.
  • Report to Cyber Threat Management on the status and efficiency of threat detection measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in threat detection processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with global teams to exchange knowledge and standard methodologies.
  • Be accountable for the timely detection and response to cyber threats.
  • Gain exposure to the latest trends and technologies in cyber security.

What will make you successful?

We are seeking professionals with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A demonstrated ability in cyber threat detection or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in threat detection tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Master's in Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Experience with UEBA, machine learning and AI in threat detection.
  • Familiarity with global financial systems and regulations.
  • A track record of successful project management in a cyber security context.
