The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce expertise with proven people leadership, enterprise application experience, and exceptional business partnership skills.   This role builds and develops a high-performing team, establishes trusted relationships across Sales, Marketing, Global Services, and Operations, and translates business strategy into scalable CRM capabilities that improve productivity, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.

Success in this role requires a transformation mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly. The ideal candidate balances long-term strategy with hands-on execution—bringing the governance, operational rigor, and reliability of enterprise IT while embracing the agility, speed, and innovation needed in a high-growth organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the CRM team by coaching, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the CRM application portfolio, providing strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence for Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring the platforms are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business and IT objectives.
  • Partner closely with business leaders across Sales, Marketing, Global Services, and Operations to understand evolving priorities, translate business needs into technology solutions, and build trusted relationships that drive business outcomes.
  • Drive transformation and innovation by modernizing CRM capabilities, improving business processes, increasing adoption, and leveraging automation, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies to create measurable value.
  • Deliver with speed and agility by leading cross-functional initiatives, adapting quickly to changing business priorities, balancing competing demands, and fostering a startup mentality that emphasizes urgency, flexibility, and practical execution without compromising governance or quality.
  • Ensure operational excellence by establishing performance metrics, driving continuous improvement, managing vendors and key initiatives, and ensuring compliance with security, risk, and data governance standards.
  • Develop and manage the CRM product roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and investments based on business value, user feedback, technical strategy, and organizational priorities.
  • Lead user adoption, training, and change management initiatives to maximize platform utilization and ensure successful delivery of new capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise CRM platforms.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience within an IT organization.
  • Deep expertise with Salesforce, including platform capabilities, architecture, administration, governance, and best practices.
  • Experience supporting HubSpot or comparable marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems and how Salesforce integrates with ERP, CPQ, marketing automation, customer support, identity management, data platforms, and other business-critical applications.
  • Proven experience leading CRM implementations, enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives involving multiple integrated enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation, process modernization, automation, and adoption of AI-enabled CRM capabilities.
  • Strong business partnership skills with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, competing demands, and a need for rapid execution.
  • Experience supporting global organizations across multiple regions and business functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, or equivalent).
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms, APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD practices, Salesforce release management, and application lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), AI copilots, or predictive analytics.
  • Experience leading CRM platform migrations or consolidations.

Success Measures

  • Strong business partner satisfaction and trusted relationships.
  • Reliable, scalable, and well-governed CRM platforms.  Increased business value through CRM transformation, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Successful delivery of CRM initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Strong team engagement, development, and retention.
