What You Will Do

The Professional Services Manager is responsible for leading, evolving and improving the training, performance and execution of the Professional Services team and Trimble Services Partners (TSPs).  Under the direction of the Director, Consulting Management Office, this position plays a key role in helping to recruit, retain, develop and enhance the skills of internal staff and TSPs that are working with customers every day.  This role will work with the other consulting and technical managers within Professional Services to provide a similar level of coaching and enablement to our partners that our internal team receives.  Trimble Professional Services aims to surprise our customers by providing an experience better than expected.

  • Manages the activities of the Software Consultants 

  • Responsible for the selection and hiring of new employees

  • Coaches, manages the performance of, rewards, and motivates the team members

  • Coordinates requirement fulfillment and collects documentation for new subcontractors including W9, ACH Form, Liability Insurance, and background checks

  • Coordinates and refines the onboarding of new subcontractors, including operations orientation and training on contracts, billing, and payment processes

  • Conducts periodic subcontractor status reviews and renewals in coordination with the PS Business Development team

  • Reviews and approves subcontractor Work Orders, Statements of Work, time, expenses and invoices

  • Reviews and approve Trimble proposals and work orders with customers

  • Oversees the tracking of subcontractor cases, bid opportunities, and projects

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • BA/BS in Business or Computer Science, MBA or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of functional / technical Enterprise software implementation and project management experience

  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Software project methodologies, management tools and techniques 

  • Ability to manage multiple complex communications and software application implementation project teams simultaneously 

  • Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent tasks while effectively organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating work assignments 

  • Leadership and employee relations skills, leading teams and developing new employees within a business

  • Ability to effectively plan, assign, prioritize, and oversee the work of others while promoting and contributing to a team environment 

Bonus to have:

  • Experience in the construction industry

  • Experience using construction accounting software

  • Third party vendor management

  • PMP certification a plus
