Job Description:

We’re actively seeking a talented Manager, Client Solutions to join our new Workforce Benefits division. This role can be fully remote or hybrid and based in Chicago, IL, Newport Beach, CA, Chattanooga, TN, or Omaha, NE.  

As a Manager, Client Solutions, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-value experiences for employers and customers in the Workforce Benefits division. You’ll move Pacific Life's Workforce Benefits division, and your career, forward by leading a team of enrollment technology experts to deliver industry leading enrollment experiences.

How you’ll help move us forward: 

  • Lead a team of Client Solutions professionals to deliver best in class enrollment technology solutions.  

  • Owns operational components of enrollment technology from case level implementation through ongoing file and data exchange operations. 

  • Demonstrate a strong balance between supporting our aggressive sales goals, and also scaling our operation for profitable growth.

  • Deeply understand and serve as an expert on Pacific Life’s benefits technology offering. 

  • Create and implement processes that drive better turn-around times and higher quality data exchange. 

  • Work with IT delivery team on tickets and defect resolution. 

  • Lead team to deliver on partner and case level enrollment KPIs.  

  • Effectively diagnose and resolve client-level technology issues with a sense of urgency and excellence. 

  • Provide feedback to and work with Partner Solutions team to enhance partner level connectivity. 

  • Serve as POC for client level escalations and partner with the sales team. 

  • Present Pacific Life’s benefits technology solutions to customers, brokers, and other internal/external audiences. Instill confidence in our customers and broker partners regarding Pacific Life’s solution portfolio. 

  • Coach and develop team members to drive performance towards KPIs and stated team and department goals. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data challenges that flow from benefits technology partners and works to resolve them. 

  • Understand regulatory and compliance landscape related to enrollment and group benefits.  

  • Work within departmental controls for all aspects of the role. 

  • Effectively onboards new technology partners that align with our vision and strategy. 

The experience you bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the workforce or voluntary benefits industry.

  • Experience as a people leader.

  • Experience implementing workforce benefits platforms at the enterprise level.

  • Experience leading people in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Understanding of technology ecosystems specifically within the FinTech industry.

  • Ability to present to all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Effective written and oral communication 

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Intermediate skills with MS office applications.

  • A track record of process improvement initiatives within EDI, API, or other enrollment technology solutions.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
