Summary
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities within the builder services sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives in the builder services industry.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the builder services industry.
Support the sales team in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor solutions to meet customer needs and preferences.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales solutions to prospective clients.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on the construction industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
Solid understanding of builder services industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Experience working with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. (25% Expected)
