Summary

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities within the builder services sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives in the builder services industry.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the builder services industry.

  • Support the sales team in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor solutions to meet customer needs and preferences.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales solutions to prospective clients.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on the construction industry.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.

  • Solid understanding of builder services industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Experience working with CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. (25% Expected)

  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
