Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Analytics to lead our Acquisition Marketing Analytics team. This team's focus will be optimizing our acquisition strategy across digital and local marketing tactics in our various sales channels, reducing our cost of acquisition, and improving the quality of customers we acquire. This team will serve as the main point of contact for marketing leadership and our marketing partners, providing insights on efficiency, promotion performance, creative performance, and customer quality. Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with our customer lifecycle analytics and marketing data science teams for cross-functional analytics leveraging insights throughout our organization. Your leadership will be crucial in driving innovative data-driven strategies to enhance our marketing efficiency and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of marketing analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of analytics projects and initiatives. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on driving business results.
  • Digital Acquisition Analysis: Oversee the analysis of digital marketing campaigns across various channels including search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and display advertising. Evaluate campaign performance, ROI, and customer acquisition metrics.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to eCommerce sales, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV). Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud Analysis: Analyze sales performance, product listings, pricing strategies, and customer reviews on Amazon.com. Identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and competitive positioning on the platform.
  • Data Science Collaboration: Collaborate with the data science team to leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to inform marketing analytics strategies. Incorporate predictive insights, customer segmentation, and personalized targeting into marketing initiatives.
  • Reporting and Insights: Produce regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Present findings in a clear and compelling manner to drive decision-making and action.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Oversee A/B testing and multivariate testing initiatives to optimize marketing campaigns, landing pages, and customer experiences. Analyze test results and iterate on strategies based on performance feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, marketing partners, product marketing, and IT to align marketing analytics efforts with business objectives and priorities. Collaborate on campaign planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics, digital marketing, and eCommerce. Proactively seek out opportunities for innovation and experimentation to drive business growth.


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership role managing a team of marketing analysts
  • 5+ years in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) and Amazon Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics including SEM, SEO, social media advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques, A/B testing methodologies, and marketing attribution modeling
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Compensation is also based on the role's location and may change depending on the work location. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check. The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
