The Opportunity
As a Managed Services Revenue Cycle Director, you will lead strategic initiatives within our Advisory practice, focusing on optimizing physician revenue cycle operations and performance for our clients. You will be at the forefront of transforming business operations, shaping and governing revenue cycle operating models, and leveraging business process improvement, automation, and AI to drive efficiency, enhance service delivery, and deliver measurable outcomes.
As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts. You will make impactful decisions and oversee multiple engagements, maintaining executive-level client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to physician leadership and practice executives. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of managed services by defining scalable operating models, improving performance across the revenue cycle continuum, and advancing innovative solutions that support long-term client success.
Responsibilities
- Leading strategic initiatives in physician revenue cycle management to drive business growth, operational excellence, and measurable client outcomes
- Defining and governing physician revenue cycle operating models, multi-specialty playbooks, operating standards, and delivery approaches across the revenue cycle continuum
- Governing physician revenue cycle operations across billing, collections, denial management, cash posting, credit resolution, and financial clearance
- Driving top-tier performance against cash collection, accounts receivable days, denial, write-off, and other key operational targets across the client portfolio
- Leading multi-client, multi-specialty portfolios with blended onshore and offshore teams of 300+ associates supporting $250M+ net revenue organizations
- Advising physician and practice executives on revenue cycle performance, organization design, operating model transformation, and strategic priorities
- Governing managed services performance through MSA and SLA design, executive reporting, change control, and performance reviews
- Driving root-cause resolution across front, middle, and back-end revenue cycle functions in collaboration with Access, Coding, Technology, and Client Delivery teams
- Leading business process improvement and transformation initiatives to optimize workflows, performance, and service quality
- Sponsoring automation, AI, and digital solutions that enhance revenue cycle outcomes, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Overseeing complex managed services engagements and delivery portfolios to support quality, performance, and timely execution
- Managing stakeholder engagement and cultivating executive-level client relationships to support satisfaction, retention, and long-term client success
- Translating operational performance into proof points that support client renewals, expansion opportunities, and business growth
- Developing managers and team leads while strengthening leadership capability across the organization
- Conducting process and performance analysis to identify opportunities for optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of progressive Revenue Cycle Leadership
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Administration/Management, Engineering
- Demonstrating strategic leadership across physician revenue cycle operations and the front, middle, and back-end revenue cycle continuum
- Leading large-scale, multi-client and multi-specialty revenue cycle portfolios and leaders-of-leaders organizations
- Driving measurable improvement in revenue cycle key performance indicators through operating model, process, technology, automation, and AI transformation
- Governing blended onshore and offshore delivery models and complex managed services relationships
- Advising physician leadership and Finance practice executives with executive presence and cross-functional influence
- Managing MSA and SLA governance, performance reporting, change control, and executive client reviews
- Collaborating across Access, Coding, Technology, Client Delivery, and other related functions to drive shared revenue cycle outcomes
- Cultivating executive-level client relationships that support retention, renewals, expansion, and business growth
- Leading teams working in Epic
The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
